AFPA Fitness certification programs qualify for VA Reimbursement and are MyCAA approved. Active, Veteran, and immediate family members can benefit from this reimbursement. AFPA Fitness provides certifications for personal trainer, fitness, nutrition, health coach, and specialty credentials.
Amazon provides career opportunities for both Active Duty and Veterans. There are a variety of job types and opportunities available through Amazon with additional benefits such as salary differential and extended medical coverage.
American Council on Exercise (ACE) offers Active Duty, Reserve and Veterans 20% off all ACE materials (or their current best offer, whichever is greater). The organization also offers scholarships to those who qualify and a “Military Spouse Career Advancement Account (MyCAA),” which provides up to $4,000 in financial assistance to spouses of active-duty military and activated National Guard and Reserve members to pursue a certification. ACE offers certification for personal trainers, group fitness instructors, health coaches, and medical exercise specialists.
BEACHBODY – Coach Program Beachbody waives its Coach Business Service Fee (BSF) and reimburses the Business Starter Kit (BSK) fee for Active, Reserve, and Veteran members. Requirements apply. Beachbody coaches help people achieve their fitness goals through exercise and nutrition.
CEFA Trainer – Personal Trainer Certification The Council of Exercise Fitness and Athletics offers Personal Trainer Certifications for $18 each to Active and Veteran members. Requirement applies. additional certifications are also available.
NAFC Certification The National Association for Fitness Certification provides “The Not Forgotten™” Scholarship Program to Active, Reserve, Veteran, and Retired members, including immediate family over 18, which covers 100% of the course material fees.

NCSF National Council on Strength & Fitness certifications are approved for post-9/11 GI Bill reimbursement, which entails a $299 reimbursement for each program. Veterans and dependents are eligible for the Personal Trainer Certification, Sport Nutrition Specialist, and Certified Strength Coach Programs.
NFPT – Personal Trainer Certification National Federation of Professional Trainers offers a 15% discount to Active and Veteran members. Verification required.
