Veterans Day at the Disney Theme Parks
It’s traditional for the Disney Theme Parks to do something special each year to commemorate Veterans Day and serve both the veterans that work at Disney and those in the surrounding communities.
Last year, Walt Disney World expanded on their Heroes Who Work Here initiative to include a special celebration that honored the veterans who work at Disney World. The Heroes Who Work Here initiative is Disney’s special program designed to employ veterans. If any veterans or active-duty personnel find themselves at Disney World this Veterans Day, make sure to take in the celebration.
