by mildiscounts

The Lowe’s military discount is 10% off year round and is available to active-duty service members, retirees, veterans, spouses and children up to age 18. In order to get the discount you must register for the MyLowes personal shopping card. This is not a credit card and there are no fees.

Lowe's buildingHow to register for Lowe’s Personal Shopping Card (MyLowes):

Lowe’s accepts signups in-store and online.

If you have never used the Lowe’s website before, before signing up for the military discount program you’ll be asked to create a MyLowes online account. This is an additional step, but it allows you to use your military discount for qualifying purchases online as well as in person.

Those without a MyLowes account have the option of creating one online or signing up in-store. If you choose not have a MyLowes account and register in person instead, your military discount will not apply to online shopping.

What is Needed to Sign Up?

Online Verification: A third party service is used to verify eligibility for online enrollment.

In-Store Verification: A photo ID is required in addition to military ID, veteran ID, active duty family member ID, state ID with veteran designation, common access card, or military discharge paperwork.

Who Qualifies For The Military Discount?

Active Duty Military of the US Armed Forces (Army, Air Force, Coast Guard, Marines, Navy, Space Force), Guard, Reserve, immediate family members for all branches of the U.S. military (including the Coast Guard) and veterans are eligible to apply. The only exclusion is for those who have received military discharges characterized as “dishonorable”.

All others are eligible regardless of the type of discharge. “Immediate family members” include spouses and dependent children up to the age of 18.

Do I Need to Verify my Military Status Each Time?

No, simply present your MyLowe’s card.

Using The Lowe’s Military Discount

The program offers 10% all qualifying purchases, which must be made for personal use and for items that are not already on sale. The discount cannot be used for gift cards or for product installation.
